Artist Statement

Kafka is a Canadian artist with autism and a huge passion for arts and crafts, philosophy, and inevitably combining the two. He has a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Religion, and Creative Writing from the University of Toronto, and is currently pursuing a BFA in Theatrical Production and Design at York University.A lover of many artistic mediums, Kafka enjoys making all kinds of things with his hands. He values simply having fun with his art instead of worrying about its wider appeal. He believes in the importance of play and imagination, even in adulthood, as well as practicing empathy and compassion towards all beings.
